Barnesville Depot: The Barnesville Depot was constructed in 1912 for the Central of Georgia Railway and replaced a stone depot constructed in 1852 by the Macon & Western Railroad.  The building’s tall chimneys, red roofing tile, and curvilinear gables are all facets of Spanish architecture.  The current depot was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and currently serves as the home of Lamar Arts where numerous art shows and events are held every year.  The depot is located in downtown Barnesville between Main Street and Atlanta Street.
