2020 Leadership Lamar Nominations!
We are proud to announce that we will sponsor and hold the next Leadership Lamar class in February 2020! Leadership Lamar has proven to be a very successful opportunity to mold leaders in our community. Our graduates from Leadership Lamar currently serve our community as City Council members, County Commissioners, County Chairpersons, and many sits on the board for our Industrial Development Authority and the Chamber of Commerce. We are very excited about this program and hope that you see the level of importance for this program and support the need to continue to offer such a program.
To continue the program, we need to fill twenty spots in the upcoming class with eligible leadership candidates. You will find a nomination form enclosed. Please take a moment to consider the following:
- Do you know of a co-worker, professional associate, leader in your church or civic organization that you feel will benefit from this leadership program?
- Do you have an employee that you wish to sponsor in this leadership program?
- Would you or your business be willing to sponsor a student in this leadership program? There will be candidates that would like to take the program that may not financially be able to pay the $300.00 tuition - would you be willing to sponsor such a candidate?
Please take a moment to complete the enclosed nomination form with anyone that you wish to nominate as an upcoming leader in our community that may benefit from this program. Also, please note the form where indicated if you wish to sponsor a candidate that is unable to attend due to the financial commitment.
Please submit your 2020 Leadership Lamar Nomination Form by Friday, December 13, 2019.
Thank you for your time and consideration! We appreciate your input!
