    Barnesville-Lamar County Chamber stands with Governor Kemp and our state leaders on their prudent decision to ensure the health and well-being of all Georgians, while recognizing the significant role business and industry are playing in the fight against Covid-19. We will continue to diligently provide resources on our website along with resources from the Georgia Chamber and their website,, including the overview below, and work in tandem with our partners at the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) to deliver clear and consistent guidance during this time. 


    The Georgia Chamber has prepared an overview of Governor Kemp’s Executive Order that includes the following:

    • A one-page summary of the Shelter-In-Place Executive Order
    • A copy of the Governor’s Executive Order
    • A copy of the 22-page handout from the Governor’s Office
    • Information from the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s webs

     

  • In an effort to help assist companies with business related information, The Barnesville-Lamar County Industrial Development Authority has created a COVID-19 page within its website for business related news as it evolves. We will try to post the most updated information as it becomes available both here and on our website.
