Barnesville Buggy Days is the city’s benchmark festival, celebrating Barnesville’s historic heritage as the “Buggy Capital of the South” during the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
Buggy Days got its start in November of 1974. Since then, it has been featured in Southern Living Magazine, and its parade has even been granted the title of the “Longest Hometown Parade in the South”.
Join us for Music, Family Fun with Kid's Park, Car Show, Local Food, Sweets, Fun Activities, Local Art, handcrafted and homemade goods from all around the southeast.
Held every third weekend in September, the Barnesville Buggy Days Festival is dedicated to furthering the traditions of our community!
